Nature is precious. And we humans are killing this precious resource. Everyday. Every moment.
You know that. We know that. Everybody knows that. What do we do about it? Nothing. What do we think? That the Government , or the Nature Tribunal will do something about it. That we can't help - it's not our responsibility.
We're wrong. It is our planet, and it is our responsibility. It's us who has to do something about it - to turn it around.
How will we do this? Well, it's our planet. And the demise of nature is definitely happening around us. So we can definitely do something. Where do you live? Can you see imbalances happening around you? You won't be able to spot them first. But keep an eye out. You'll realise: Has summer come too early, too hot and too dusty this time? Or have the local birds who used to peck at your window disappeared over the last 3 years?
Think. Can you bring the birds back by planting indigenous species of plants? Can you make it less dusty by asking the nearby builder to be a bit more careful with where he stores his building material? It doesn't need to be large scale. It just needs to be done by all of us. It's up to you.
We won't preach on what you need to do. You'll find your ways. After all, you too are a part of the wonderful thing that our planet used to, and can again be!
Here's what we're doing to help conserve nature. It's a dance-drama, and we hope that it will encourage others to do their bit too!
